Killer Rental

Killer Rental (2024)
Killer Rental uses a found-footage style that relies heavily on a bunch of hidden cameras placed all around a rental house and the surrounding area.

Star Rating: 3 out of 5 | Stream on Screambox

Two couples looking for something to watch in their rental house find a VHS tape. On the tape is a movie depicting six friends staying at the same rental house, who are watched and stalked by a masked killer. For a slasher like this, Killer Rental is paced a bit too slowly with regards to the kills. That would be okay if getting to know the characters and their relationships led to more significance within the plot, but their conflicts only really matter once in the story. Still, Killer Rental is a fun time, and it’s worth a watch for fans of micro-budget slashers and found footage.
