The nominees in the third annual Critics Choice Super Awards were announced on February 22, 2023, with Pearl and Nope leading the way for horror with three nominations each. Even more exciting for fans of Mia Goth’s tremendous year in horror during 2022, she is nominated in two different acting categories: Best Actress in a Horror Movie and Best Villain in a Movie, both for Pearl.
The Critics Choice Super Awards was established in 2020, with its first awards presentation taking place in January of 2021. As part of the Critics Choice Association, the Super Awards honor genre categories often overlooked by other awards shows like the Academy Awards.
